The Austrian Puch 500 saw its construction in the years 1956-1972. Friedrich Parisch converted the car depicted above for his journeys. After reducing the height to 40 cm, the Puch 500 fit in a caravan.

The Hall of Grapes (Traubenhalle) is one part of the Vino Versum in Poysdorf. The hall houses an exhibition about the history of wine and the relationship between wine growing and Poysdorf.
Nine-pin bowling alley in Poysdorf
At the open air museum of the Vino Versum in Poysdorf I came across this traditional nine-pine bowling alley. In former times such an alley was part of a well equipped inn. The location was generally outside so there was much room for the audience.
Vineyard goat in Poysdorf
An exhibit with an interesting story seen at the Hall of Grapes in Poysdorf is the vineyard goat (Weinbeergoaß). This symbol is said to go back to a biblical story of Noah: After observing a goat eating grapes he tried them for himself and became the father of winegrowing.
Povoden Museum in Ptuj
The Povoden Museum is the oldest open-air lapidarium in Slovenia. Its name origins from Simon Povoden, who collected antique monuments in the city’s tower base. The largest and most famous piece of this collection is the Orpheus Monument, a 5 m high monument standing in front of the city tower.

The open air museum Stübing (Österreichisches Freilichtmuseum Stübing) is dedicated to typical farmhouses of Austria. As a special feature, the buildings are grouped by the Austrian federal states. So you can walk from the small huts of Burgenland up to the large alpine farmsteads of Vorarlberg.

The Austrian Open-Air Museum Stübing (Österreichische Freilichtmuseum Stübing) displays old farmhouses from all over Austria. One of the buildings includes a small grocery.
Museum tramway in Mariazell
I took this pic inside the depot of the museum tramway in Mariazell. The private association provides not only a museum tramway connecting the railway station of Mariazell with the nearby Erlauf Lake (Erlaufsee) but also consists of a fine selection of Austrian tramcars built before WW II. The depicted tramcar was designed by Austrian architect Otto Wagner.
Museum of local history in Mariazell
The Museum of Pilgrimage and Local History (Wallfahrts- und Heimatmuseum), generally also known as Mariazeller Heimathaus, is housed in a former asylum of the 17th century.
Municipal museum of Erfurt
The municipal museum (Stadtmuseum) of Erfurt is placed inside a 17th century Renaissance building. The present-day function of the building is indicated by eleven red cubes showing the letters S T A D T M U S E U M. At the portal of the edifice there is a nice house sign featuring a stockfish.
Mikveh of Erfurt
Next to the famous bridge with 32 inhabited houses (Krämerbrücke) and not far away from the Old Synagogue (11th century), you can find a mikveh (Mikwe) dating back to the 13th century. The pic above shows the modern museum building covering the old mikveh.
Bauhaus Museum in Weimar
The Bauhaus Museum displays works by teachers and students of the Bauhaus school (1919-1933), including seminal works by Walter Gropius, Johannes Itten, Lyonel Feininger and Marcel Breuer.
