Steam locomotive 41.360 in Fürth, Germany
During a parade of historic locomotives in Fürth, this engine of the German Class 41 evoked my attention. Despite being built in 1940, the freight locomotive 41 360 seemed particularly juvenile and elegant to me.

On the occasion of the Bus and Train Festival 2007 in Fürth, Middle Franconia, I also watched a locomotive parade. The YouTube videos linked below tell about the variety of vehicles presented. The most impressive steam locomotive for me was the engine with the number 41 360.

The engine, produced in 1940 by the Jung (Jungenthal) locomotive factory, looked like the queen of iron horses with its elegant black and red paint finish. At that time, it was property of the Dampflok-Traditionsgemeinschaft-Oberhausen e. V. Unfortunately, this association no longer exists.
