Interesting mural seen at an abandoned building next to the railway station of Deutsch-Wagram. It shows a train dating back to the first days of passenger trains in Austria. On 23rd November 1837 the first steam train of the Austrian empire started to run from Floridsdorf to Deutsch-Wagram.
The track was part of the new Emperor Ferdinand Northern Railway. At that time, the train started in a suburb of Vienna. Today, Floridsdorf is a district of Vienna.
