The Weihnachtsdorf (Christmas village) at the Maria-Theresien-Platz is situated right between the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Museum of Fine Arts) and the Naturhistorische Museum (Museum of Natural History) and is, therefore, a fine place for having a break between two museum visits.
Comparing to other Christmas markets it is one of the more packed ones. The most impressive special feature of this market is the photographs project onto the walls of both museums. So I could watch some famous exhibits while having my cup of Gluhwein. Well, who of you know which classic work projects at the wall of the Museum of Fine Arts right now?
